Sport Fishing

Labuan's rich marine life includes many large game fish such as tuna, dorado, mackeral, black marlin and sailfish. Sport fishing is a year-round activity. Coastal fishing yields coral trout, grouper andred snapper. The mangrove swamps are rich in barramundi, mangrove jacks and terapon.

Wreck Diving

The four wrecks - Australian wreck, American wreck, Blue water wreck and Cement wreck, all lie within 34 km from Labuan. The Australian wreck, lies southwest of Pulau Rusukan Besar offers the best hull penetration for experienced divers. The American wreck, formerly the USS Salute, a US Navy minesweeper went down in 1945, liesjust 1.4 km from theAustralian wreck. The Blue waterwreck has the best visibility of all the wrecks. The Cement wreck sits on the sea bed in an upright position. It is dubbed the most colourful and photogenic wreck of Labuan.

Diving and Snorkelling

The clear water and colourful coral reefs around Labuan make for fantastic diving and snorkelling. The three secluded islets at the marine park have fringing coral reefs, which make it a veritable island is a beautiful, snorkellers' paradise. Brightly coloured and uninhabited island in fishes dart through the living underwater`the Labuan marine park. It is garden. The park has some of the best developed coral reefs in the South China Sea with more than 20 spectacular dive.

Kuraman Island

Kuraman Island is a beautiful, quiet and uninhabited island in the labuan marine park. It is densely forested with long white sandy beaches. It is perfect for picnic, swimmng and snorkelling.

Kayaking

Enjoy the sun and sea in the most leisurely manner Kayaking takes you to some very secluded beach spots around the island.

Proboscis Monkey

The male proboscis monkey with its long pendulous nose and an outsized stomach has a harem of up to 10 females attracted by his weird good looks . they feed on leaves and seeds. Wacth these elusive monkeys along Menumbok river only 20 minutes boat ride from Labuan.
